Debola Ogunseye named to PDL All League Team

After leading Mississippi Brilla in scoring with 14 goals, Debola Ogunseye was named to the Premier Development League All-League Team. He was also a finalist for the League’s Most Valuable Player award.

Debola Ogunseye, a native of Nigeria who scored 14 goals in 15 games this season, earns his first selection to the team in his first year in the league.

Brilla FC coach, Dave Dixon, said of Ogunseye, "Debola is a very dynamic player. I don't think there is anyone as quick as he is in our league. He has the physical tools to be a successful professional player."

Ogunseye, who graduated from Newberry College in May, will be playing this Fall at Furman University while working towards a Master's Degree.

"Debola was very exciting to watch this year," said Mississippi Brilla General Manager Rusty Bryant.. "Mississippi Brilla fans held their breath every time he touched the ball."
