Mississippi Brilla FC Announces Formation of Youth Soccer Club: Mississippi Brilla Juniors

Mississippi Brilla FC has announced that they will begin to operate a youth soccer club to go along with their minor league Premier Development League team. Mississippi Brilla FC and Clinton Soccer Association have entered into an agreement where Mississippi Brilla FC will administer the Division 1 program in Clinton. Tryouts have been set and boys and girls teams will be formed from U11 through U18.  The teams will be based out of Clinton, MS, the home of Mississippi Brilla FC and will be called Mississippi Brilla Juniors FC.

“We are extremely excited to take the next step with our organization and the youth soccer community and operate a youth club.  It has been a long process but a very exciting and rewarding one as we have a great opportunity to offer something different to the youth soccer community,” commented Rusty Bryant, President of Mississippi Brilla FC.

The club will be under the supervision of the PDL coaching staff. PDL Head Coach Dave Dixon will be the Director of Coaching, and PDL Associate Head Coach Todd Eason will be the Director of Player Development.

“Todd and I are very excited to have the opportunity to lead this club into the future as well as the youth soccer community.  Brilla is a first class organization, and I fully expect our youth club to be run in the same manner as we move forward.  We are going to be the most comprehensive soccer club in the state of Mississippi as we will have U11 teams through our minor league team at the top of the developmental pyramid,” said Dave Dixon, Director of Coaching.

Tryouts will start on June 15th and run through June 30th.  The specific times, locations, and tryout information can be found HERE.  All tryout sessions will be located at Traceway Park. Please note there was an error on the U16 Boys tryout dates. Their first date will be on Monday, June 15.
